Certified Community Work Incentive Coordinators (CWICs) help SSDI/SSI beneficiaries make informed decisions regarding how employment may affect their cash and health care benefits. Transition services are a coordinated set of activities that assist youth with disabilities to successfully transition from high school to employment or post-secondary training opportunities. Every public high school in Alabama has a vocational rehabilitation counselor assigned to provide pre-employment and transition services.
