CRS Allied Health Vendors
Children's Rehabilitation Service fully informs clients
and families of all available options for delivery of services within the
agency. As part of this policy, CRS
developed a directory of
non-medical vendors that may be sorted by CRS
district office and type of vendor.
The non-medical vendor list contains information about
available vendors for audiology, durable medical equipment, hearing aids,
nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, orthotics/prosthetics, physical
therapy, and speech-language pathology. The information in this directory is
provided for use by clients and families who receive services from
CRS .
All companies listed have met certain
minimal requirements before being added to the Alabama Department of
Rehabilitation Services/Children's Rehabilitation Service Vendor file.
These minimum requirements include: license and/or certification as appropriate
in their specialty area, agreement to comply with the Americans with
Disabilities Act ( ADA ),
agreement to comply with CRS
Vendor
Guidelines, statement of compliance with confidentiality, liability insurance
coverage, certification regarding debarment, and certification of compliance
with drug-free workplace requirements. Some vendors may have
qualifications beyond these minimal requirements. ADRS / CRS
cannot
recommend any particular vendor or service provider for clients. Families are
encouraged to select the
vendor that meets their individual needs.
